A New Application Portal… Why?
In addition to being easy to navigate, the new application portal is designed to speed up the time it takes to submit an application. There are now fewer pages to click through, fewer fields to fill out, and you no longer need to create an account to apply. We want to make applying simple and quick so you can focus on what really matters to you.

We do require a few documents before we can get started. Here are some of the items we typically require…
- State Issued ID (Driver’s License, State ID, Passport, Military ID, etc.)
- Your Current Address
- If your address on your ID doesn’t match your current address, we ask that you upload a utility bill showing the new address.
- Account Funding Information (if necessary)
- Financial Institution Routing and Account Number
- Credit/Debit Card
- Your Financial Infomation
- Pay Stubs
- Employer Information
- Proof of Insurance
Choose Your Product
To get started, you’ll want to click an “Apply Now” button on the product web page you are interested in or you can visit our application portal.
We wanted to make things simpler by allowing you to choose your product and go. That also means that you can no longer start an application and come back to it later. In order to keep your personal information safe, the application will close after 10 minutes of inactivity so you’ll want to ensure you have enough time to finish in one sitting. The whole process only takes about 10-20 minutes.
Once you’re ready, just click on your product to get started.
NOTE: We require that all members have a Membership Savings with us. While we have other savings account options to fit your lifestyle, we require the Membership Savings to get started.
Provide Personal Information and Upload Documents
After you’ve selected your product, you’ll then enter your personal information. To save you time, we can pre-fill information from your state ID if you can take a picture of the back of the ID. Be sure to accurately enter your information to ensure a quick decision.
For security purposes, we do require your state-issued ID to be submitted to us. In order to keep your experience quick and easy, we’ve done away with requiring faxed documents and you can now upload the necessary documents from your camera, mobile device, or your computer.
Depending on the product you are applying for, you may need to upload additional documents. These documents could include utility bills, pay stubs, W2s, or etc. Like the ID, we no longer require that you fax these items and instead you can just upload them directly into the application. Easy, right?
At this point, you’ve selected your product, entered your personal information, and uploaded any necessary documents. You’re almost there!
You’ll simply want to review the information you provided for accuracy. The more accurate the information, the easier it is for us to process and the quicker you get your decision. Always double-check!
You may be asked some additional questions related to the product at this point in the application. This may include extra disclosure information, password information, card design, etc.
Once you’ve reviewed the application and updated any information, submit the application. That’s it!
Once we’ve received the application, it takes about 1-3 business days to make a decision. When we’ve finished, we will reach back out to you through the email you provided.
Once you’ve submitted an application to us, you are welcome to check on the status, or send us a message, at any time. Simply go to the application portal and select the “Check Status/Send Message” option. You’ll be asked a couple of security questions and then shown the updated status. You can also stop into one of our branches or give us a call at 217-278-7700 with any questions about your application.
